Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay

All 147 villas and nine residences sit inside walled stone courtyards, each with thatched pavilions and a private pool. With no conventional hotel rooms, the grounds feel like a quiet Balinese village, dotted with more than 300 palinggih.

Sundara Beach Club sits right on the sand and is the main sunset address; Jimbaran's own beach runs for roughly 4.8 km in front of the resort. The Jalan Bukit Permai position keeps the airport run short, while Seminyak takes far longer.

Since every unit is a villa, ask for one close to Sundara if you plan to be on the beach often; some villas sit well inside the grounds and the walk is long at midday.

The airport run is only about 20 minutes, so the last day needs no early start. Going the other way, counting Seminyak or Canggu for dinner means 45 minutes or more each way.

For an Uluwatu day, leave between 07:30 and 08:30 WITA. Sunday brunch at Sundara is busy, so book ahead.

Jimbaran Beach is calmest in the morning, before the fishing boats return.

Four Seasons sits on Jalan Bukit Permai, Jimbaran, right behind the beach. It is about 10 km from Ngurah Rai airport, a 20-minute drive, and roughly 45 minutes from Seminyak. Taxis and ride-hailing can drop you at the lobby; the concierge also arranges airport transfers. Guest parking is near the lobby, separate from Sundara's beach entrance.

A calm base for days in Jimbaran and on the western Bukit: one day for Pura Luhur Uluwatu, Padang Padang, and Melasti, one for the GWK area and the Jimbaran fish-market strip. With the airport only about 20 minutes away, it also makes sense for a final night before flying out.
