Rimba Jimbaran Bali by AYANA

The name comes from the 8 hectares of forest around the buildings, and the pool network is built in tiers, with waterfalls and slides. RIMBA guests get full access to the whole AYANA estate, including Rock Bar, Kubu Beach, and 14 pools, on a free electric shuttle that runs every 10 to 15 minutes between 06:00 and 22:00.

Because the estate is connected, staying here means breakfast in one building, a swim in another, and sunset on the cliff edge without changing hotels. Children usually settle in well, since the kids club and mini golf are both on site.

RIMBA is the more child-friendly option than the cliffside AYANA Resort, so many families stay here and still use the wider estate.

The electric shuttle runs 06:00 to 22:00. If you are dining at Rock Bar or an AYANA restaurant, arrive early, as the inclinator queue is long just before sunset.

For an Uluwatu day, leave between 07:30 and 08:30 WITA. The tiered pools are busiest in the afternoon, so mornings are calmer for a swim.

Kubu Beach keeps limited 10:00 to 18:00 hours and can close when the swell is high.

RIMBA sits inside the AYANA estate on Jalan Karang Mas Sejahtera, Jimbaran, about 12 km from Ngurah Rai airport, or a 30-minute drive. Taxis and ride-hailing can come right up to the lobby; the resort also offers a paid airport transfer. Guest parking is in front of the lobby building, and the electric shuttle connects the whole estate from there.

A family base for days in Jimbaran and on the western Bukit. Children are usually content with the pools and kids club, so parents can slot in one day at Pura Luhur Uluwatu or Pandawa, then return in the afternoon for dinner on the estate.
