Seven days are often treated as enough for "all of Bali". That is the trap. A calm week is still one corridor per day, plus two pauses, plus at most one island day. This 7-day Bali itinerary does not promise the west, the north, and three sunsets. It promises the south, Ubud, Lempuyang, Bedugul, and southwest Nusa Penida without moving your suitcase every morning.
A Week Shape that Does Not Chase the Map
Day 1 south (Melasti, Pandawa, Uluwatu). Day 2 Ubud (Tegallalang, Tirta Empul, Monkey Forest). Day 3 pause. Day 4 Lempuyang. Day 5 Bedugul. Day 6 Nusa Penida. The Island Day: Southwest Nusa Penida Only
One island day, not two. Start from Sanur Harbour very early. On the island, stay southwest: Kelingking Beach, Angel's Billabong, and Broken Beach. Do not add Crystal Bay the same afternoon unless an agent says the sea and queues still behave. Return to Bali before dark. Two Pauses, Not One
The first pause still sits before Lempuyang. Place the second before or after Nusa Penida, depending on sea weather. A delayed ferry is better than forcing a bad crossing and losing two days (the crossing and the recovery). A successful 7-day week has breath in the middle, not seven full boxes.
Stays: Two or Three Bases
Two bases are enough: south and Ubud. A third (one night near Padang Bai or Sanur before the island) only makes sense if you want to cut the pre-dawn transfer.
